1. Because Seiya is FREAKIN' AWESOME, Taiki quotes William Blake, and Yaten is BETTER THAN YOU.
2. Because I'm a sucker for trios, especially trios with obviously clashing personalities, who still manage to stick together through thick and thin, regardless. I love the way that they act as foils for each other.
3. Because Yaten finally gave the series what it sorely needed: at least one character who was a total, complete, unapologetic bitch.
4. Because it was about time Usagi had a serious romantic interest other than Mamoru! I mean, I love UsaMamo, but after four seasons of them I was ready to see Usagi paired with someone else for a change (even knowing that she would inevitably end up back with Mamoru in the end).
5. Because I love the idea of Sailor Senshi from outside our solar system.
6. Because in the manga, Seiya was such a flaming lesbian.
7. BECAUSE OF THE CAMPING EPISODE.
8. Because of their loyalty and devotion, to both Kakyuu and to Usagi.
Does TAIKI > EVERYTHING ELSE count? Because really, that's about as close as I can come to making TAIKIIIIIAGALKSDJGA;SLKJGDAS sound somewhat coherent. :| :| :|

Uhhh...let's see, things I like about the Starlights:
1. Seiya is flirty and funny in the anime.
2. Yaten is blunt, cynical, and straight to the point. (Always a win in my book)
3. Taiki is very very posh, it makes me laugh sometimes, lol.
